Important Information
Here are a few important details to keep in mind when renting a Slingshot from Maine Slingshot Rentals. For more information on our Slingshots or the rental process, please feel free to contact us, we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
- A security deposit (in the form of a $1,000 hold on your credit card) is required.
- You must be 25 years old or older, have a valid drivers license and proof of insurance.
- A Slingshot is considered an autocycle and you do not need a motorcycle license to operate a Slingshot in Maine.
- You cannot operate your Slingshot rental outside of Maine.
- No children under the age of 15 are allowed to operate your Slingshot rental.
- Only two people (driver + passenger) are allowed per Slingshot.
- The Slingshot comes with a full tank of gas. Any additional fuel is your responsibility, and you must return your Slingshot with a full tank.
- Excessive tread wear will incur an additional charge.
